How a piece gets made

The honest pipeline, from pencil to pixels.

01 · Paper

01 · Paper

Every piece starts as a pencil sketch. Poses, expressions, wrong turns - all of it stays in the sketchbook.

02 · Line & character

02 · Line & character

The keepers get clean lines and a personality. This is where a drawing starts looking back at you.

03 · Motion & color

03 · Motion & color

Then it moves: 2D frames or a full 3D build, colored until it feels alive.

Questions people ask

The short honest answers.

What is LUL YANN?

It is the name I sign my work with. Yael Sharon is the person; LUL YANN is the small studio where the drawings learn to move.

Do you take commissions?

Yes. Films, character design, illustration and prints. Write me and tell me what you dream about.

How do you work?

Pencil and paper first, always. The digital tools join later, and they change from piece to piece.

Can I buy a print?

Some of the hand-pulled prints exist only once. Ask me about the one you fell for.

Where does new work land first?

On Instagram: @lul__yann. The site catches up right after.
